Tasting notes
Marked by scents of crushed stone, alpine strawberries, white peaches and lime zest, the 2020 Cotes de Provence Rose Le Clos Peyrassol is another terrific vintage of this top-class rosé. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Tibouren aged in stoneware jars, it's medium-bodied, silky-textured and shows terrific intensity, length and complexity on the finish.

Limpid silver-pink. A complex, assertively perfumed bouquet evokes fresh, mineral-accented red berries, citrus fruits, pungent flowers and succulent herbs. Dry and sharply focused on the palate, offering concentrated strawberry, pomegranate, blood orange and honeysuckle flavors and a hint of tarragon. Shows superb clarity and mineral-drive on the incisive finish, which hangs on with outstanding tenacity and repeating florality. Raised in clay amphoras and only 12.5% alcohol. - Josh Raynolds
