Tasting notes
A stunning effort, the 2022 Condrieu Vernon offers incredible purity in its white peach, tangerine, honeyed flowers, spice, and crushed stone aromatics. Pure, focused, and elegant on the palate, it's medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with remarkable balance and integrated acidity. I love this terroir, and this gorgeous, classy wine will evolve for upwards of a decade. Drink 2025-2035.

Notes of oak, peanuts, flowers and spices intertwined with a toasty profile, the 2022 Condrieu Lieu Dit Vernon is medium to full-bodied, ample and compact with a structured yet elegant mid-palate that leads to a long, oaky and ethereal finish. While quite oaky, this Condrieu is impeccably crafted and balanced, making it a commendable example of its type, though it may not align with everyone’s preferences.
Checking in at 14% alcohol, the full-bodied 2022 Condrieu Lieu-dit Vernon is game-on. Prominent white peach, apricot, lemon flesh, cedar, vanilla and spring blossom aromas race out of the glass. A discreet tinge of ginger adds another layer. Dense, crisp and focused, the 2022 is magnificent and I can totally see it improving in bottle over the next few years, gaining candied stone fruit and honey complexities.
