Lifted aromas similar to the 2014 and light on the palate. Gentle and still extremely youthful – still showing primary red-fruit character. Well sustained. (JH)

Medium deep ruby-purple in color, the 2010 Peregrine Pinot Noir is slightly reduced on the nose, with black pepper, dried herb and tar notes over a core of black cherries, mulberries and meat plus a whiff of mocha. Medium-bodied and just a bit lean in the mouth, it has bright acid, low to medium levels of slightly astringent tannins, and a long finish. Drink it now to 2015.
