Score 87/100 · Drink 2015-2021, Mark Squires, Dec 2015

The 2009 Tinto is an old vines field blend aged for three months in tank and 13 months in used French oak barrels. It is elegant, with ripe tannins and seductive texture. A remarkably graceful wine in this big vintage, this is bright and transparent, with some grip on the finish. It does have more power than concentration, but right at the moment it is drinking beautifully. It will continue to hold nicely for several years.
