Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2036, Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2023

The 2016 Eric Stevens Purbrick Cabernet Sauvignon smells of cedar and chewing tobacco, and it's concentrated and spicy in the mouth. There is more levity to the fruit than the aromas would suggest, and its inherent savoriness makes for lovely, fresh drinking now.
