2001 Haven Pinot Noir

Slightly roasted aromas of strawberry, smoke, game, underbrush and truffle. Silky-sweet in the mouth, with flavors of raspberry, spice, minerals and earth. Offers good texture and palate presence but seems a bit youthfully closed. Finishes with fine tannins and good length. (A second bottle had similar weight but a faint dry edge running through it, meriting a score of 86).
