Score 95/100 · Drink 2004-2011, Robert Parker, Oct 2004

The 2002 Shiraz Samantha’s Garden (300 cases) emerges from a 35-year-old vineyard in Armargh. Aged 17 months in old French hogsheads, it reveals a deep saturated purple color along with a gorgeous nose of acacia flowers, creme de cassis, blackberries, cherries, and lavender. Full-bodied, rich, and elegant as well as powerful, it should drink well for 5-7 years. Importer: Vine Street Imports, Philadelphia, PA; tel. (215) 533-9463
