Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018
(from vines picked on September 4): Bright medium yellow with a green tinge. Subtly complex scents of lemon, lime leaf, orange, white pepper and wild herbs. In a more chiseled style than most of the Bitouzet Meursaults, displaying good inner-mouth floral lift to its soft citrus flavors. Not an opulent wine; in fact, a touch dry-edged on the persistent finish. The Bitouzets' old vines here produced about 42 hectoliters per hectare in 2017, according to François Bitouzet. (13.4% potential alcohol)
