Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2031, Robert Parker, Dec 2016

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Sleeping Lady Vineyard is a fruit-driven, more charming, and ready-to-drink effort than the bigger, structured, denser, yet more impressive 2013. Nevertheless, it does offer copious quantities of blackcurrant fruit, licorice, a touch of baking spices and earth. It is medium to full-bodied and best drunk over the next 12-15 years.

Plum, black cherry, lavender, cloves and spices are front and center in the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a rare case where the 2014 is richer and deeper than the 2013. The tannins need time to soften, but that should not be an issue given that the wine won't be released until 2017.
