Henri Boillot's 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Village is a success in this vintage, revealing a pretty bouquet of citrus oil, toasted nuts, spice and vanilla pod. On the palate, the wine is layered, multidimensional and concentrated, with a bright line of succulent acidity and impressive length and textural elegance. This cuvée is a blend dominated by Les Enseignères but incorporates fruit from the lieux-dits of Les Charmes, Les Houlières and Rue Rousseau.

Flinty and fragrant on the palate, with beautifully integrated baked-apple fruit. Tingles with acid on the finish. Super-lively. (RH)
Subdued aromas of peach and spices. The palate delivers good crunchy energy and cut, with the pure stone fruit flavors showing lovely delineation. Not quite as silky as the Meursault premier crus that preceded it in Boillot's line-up, but dry, classic and long for village wine.
