Score 91/100 · Drink 2014-2019, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2014
The 2010 Criots-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru has an elegant nose, quite feminine with well-integrated oak (90% new for 9 months.) With further investigation there are attractive orange-blossom scents intermingling with grilled almond. The palate is well-balanced with hints of praline and citrus peel, building to a confident and cohesive finish. This is a fine Criots, drinking perfectly now. Drink now-2019+. I have always preferred this domaine’s whites to their reds, and so it proved with the small selection of wines that I tasted in Burgundy. Importer: no known US importer but available through OW Loeb in the UK.
