2013 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard

Bright ruby. An exotic, highly perfumed bouquet evokes red berry preserves, cherry cola, incense, Asian spices and mocha, plus a smoky mineral overtone. Sappy, appealingly sweet and expansive in the mouth, offering intense, concentrated black raspberry, spicecake, vanilla and rose pastille flavors that open up quickly with aeration. Shows surprising vivacity for its depth of fruit. The cola and floral qualities recur on a strikingly long, spice-accented finish, which is framed by velvety, well-knit tannins.
