Tasting notes
The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon spent 16 months in cask (primarily French oak), and was bottled with minimal filtration. It exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, as well as an attractive black cherry, cassis, and dried herb-scented nose with spicy oak. Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, it offers plenty of cassis fruit and a chewy style. It can be drunk or cellared for 15+ years. Tel. (707) 963-2745; Fax (707) 963-4831

Dark red, less ruby than the above. Dusty black cherry and leather aromas. Very sweet in the mouth, but better acidity gives this wine a brighter, fruitier quality than the merlot. Also shows a firmer structure and more depth of flavor. Finishes with firm tannins. This also has a slightly rustic quality, but shows very good intensity of fruit.
