1999 Pinot Noir Rosemary's Vineyard

This focused, fresh wine lacks some of the sumptuousness and volume of the 2002 as well as the sexiness of the 2000, but its tannins are still present, and the wine has a delineated, mid-weight personality as well as plenty of sweet raspberry and black cherry fruit intermixed with hints of minerality, bouquet garni and earth. It is difficult to know where this wine is going, but the fruit seems to be holding nicely. Nevertheless, I would opt to drink it over the next 3-4 years.
