A rush of ripe red cherry, pomegranate, mint, blood orange and rose petal infuses the 2016 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch. Rich, racy and forward, with striking fruit intensity, the Zio Tony has an immediate allure that is impossible to resist. Even with all of its flamboyance, the 2016 remains light on its feet. The combination of richness and precision makes for a compelling Pinot Noir that will delight readers for many years to come. What a wine!

Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch opens with loads of exotic spice notes, including cumin, fenugreek and star anise, over a core of crushed blackberries and black cherries with a touch of tar. Big, concentrated and full-bodied, it is packed with spicy goodness with a sultry, plush frame and just enough freshness to lift the finish. 488 cases produced.

Martinelli

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
