The 2021 Pinot Noir Ceras has layered aromas of cranberry sauce, pomegranate, orange peel, tar, tea leaves and bitters. The palate balances structural delicacy with high concentration. Lacy tannins and vibrant acidity frame its deep, spicy flavors, and it has a very long finish with a flourish of spicy accents. It will benefit from 3-5 years in the bottle.
Youthfully coy, the 2021 Pinot Noir Ceras wafts up with a spicy blend of dried black cherries, incense, dusty sage and clove. Softly textured and juicy in feel, sweet herbal tones and sapid red and blue fruits slowly saturate toward the close. It finishes with a pleasantly bitter tinge of savory spice, mixing hints of ginger and cardamom, tapering off crunchy and long.
