Score 94+/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jul 2016

The 2013 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard is one of the most pedigreed wines in this range. Layered, persistent and super-expressive, the 2013 offers superb balance and class in a mid-weight style. This, too, is another wine that begs to be cellared for at least a few years. The Coastlands is all about subtlety.

From another Sonoma Coast vineyard that has turned out wonderful wines for Williams Selyem for years, the 2013 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard displays plenty of sweet cherry fruit, excellent ripeness, medium body, good acidity and a long finish. Still quite young and vigorous, it should drink well for 10-15 years.
