Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2032, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Dec 2025

The Boals and Malvasias showed surprisingly darker than the Sercials and Verdelhos. The NV Boal 10 Years Old has a dark amber/brown color and notes of raisins and toffee, and it comes in with 97 grams of sugar, 6.63 grams of acidity and close to one gram of volatile acidity. It feels quite sweet, with notes of toffee and brown sugar in the finish.
