Tasting notes
Certified biodynamic. Cask sample. Mid cherry red. Inviting aroma of small, wild red berries. Finely chewy, scented on the palate, with excellent balance between fruit and structure. Really dry on the finish, adding to the mouth-watering finish. Not rich and ripe like some 2022s, but long and elegant. (JH)

The 2022 Monthélie opens in the glass with aromas of cherries and cassis framed by a deft touch of sweet new oak. Medium to full-bodied, lively and fleshy, it's succulent and penetrating with a more effortless natural balance than its 2020 predecessor.
