Score 89-92/100 · Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2016
The 2015 Zinfandel Buck Cobb Vineyard hits the palate with serious depth and intensity. Powerful and dense, with plenty of mountain tannin, the 2015 is a big, heady wine that needs time to fully come together. A host of leather, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs add nuance through to the finish. With time in the glass, the wine shows good aromatic dimension. It will be interesting to see what the next year brings.
