Score 91/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024

Offering up notes of lychee, rose, flowers and spices, the 2007 Savennieres Clos du Papillon is medium-bodied, fleshy and concentrated, with a satiny mid-palate redolent of rose, lychee and toasted nuts. While it echoes the character of a classic Alsace Gewurztraminer, it remains a beautifully fashioned Clos du Papillon. Bottled with a screw-cap closure.
