2015 Aequorin Chardonnay

Vivid yellow-gold. A highly complex, mineral-laced bouquet evokes ripe citrus and orchard fruits, iodine, toasted brioche and white flowers. Vanilla and fennel nuances emerge with air and carry onto the palate, which shows superb depth and delineation to the orange, pear nectar, honeysuckle and buttered toast flavors. Powerful and weighty yet graceful as well, displaying superb focus and powerful thrust on a penetrating finish that features lingering floral, clove and mineral notes.
