Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2006-2013, Pierre Rovani, Jun 2004

The spicy, blackberry-scented 2002 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Bousselots is concentrated, silky-textured, and inundates the palate with sweet cherries as well as blackberries. Its lovely finish is suave, fruit-filled, and long. Projected maturity: 2006-2013. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524

Good medium red. Reticent redcurrant aroma. Richer and juicier than the village wine, but a bit tight today. Finishes with good length but this, too, betrays a slight dry edge. In an awkward stage today.
