Tasting notes
Brilliant ruby-red. Ripe red fruits, candied flowers and suggestions of five-spice powder and botanical herbs on the perfumed nose. Juicy, spice-laced black raspberry and kirsch flavors deepen steadily through the midpalate while maintaining energy. Smooth tannins lend shape to a long, floral- and spice-driven finish that leaves a hint of candied licorice behind. Most of the fruit for this bottling is from the Bednarik, Shea and Sequitur vineyards, all of which are among the Willamette Valley's most esteemed sites. 40% whole clusters.

Medium ruby in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Old Eight Cut offers bright raspberry fruit with notes of charcuterie, dried citrus peel, dusty earth and tea leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate opens up to lush, super spicy and very juicy fruits, anchored by finely textured tannins and finishing very long, lifted and detailed. 371 cases were made.
