Good deep red. Sappy, fruit-driven aromas of currant, plum and raspberry. Suave and sweet, with deep flavors of red fruits, minerals and coffee. Mouthfilling but not at all heavy. Finishes with broad tannins, sweet oak notes and very good persistence.

Very deep crimson. If this were a bottled wine, I’d wonder whether it was showing a bit of TCA? Very meaty and brutal. Thick. Not fine. Too sweet? Overoaked? (JR)
