Bright crimson. Very clean, smooth, voluptuous nose and palate. Very fine and lovely tannin quality. Great, sleek finish. Syrah is promising here! (JR)

The 2018 Estate Syrah La Bruma is stunning this vintage, with pure violets, coffee, aniseed and smoky mineral aromas accenting ripe blackcurrant fruit. The medium-bodied palate pairs power and elegance, with a firm, fresh frame and transparent, highly perfumed fruits, and it finishes very long. Approachable now, it also has what it takes to go the distance in bottle. 320 cases were made.
The 2018 Syrah Estate La Bruma is incredibly elegant. Nuanced and understated to the core, the 2018 is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. The purity of the flavors is just striking. Bright red berry fruit, blood orange, cinnamon, licorice, rose petal and lavender are some of the many aromas and flavors that come forward. More than anything else, the 2018 is flat-out delicious. It is a fabulous wine from this great vintage.
