The 2018 Saint Joseph La Croix De Chabot has a ripe, sexy bouquet of black cherries, asphalt, licorice, and smoked meats, with some loamy soil and mineral notes emerging with time in the glass. Despite its ripeness level, it's not overripe and stays balanced and textured on the palate, with a rich, mouthfilling style, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. This charming, classic Syrah shows the style of the vintage and is beautifully done. Enjoy bottles over the coming 7-8 years.
The 2018 Saint-Joseph la Croix de Chabot offers up appealing aromas of smoke, dried herbs, black olives and black cherries. It's medium to full-bodied, rich and velvety, finishing long, with some attractive dried-spice notes.
