Score 91/100 · Drink 2014-2019, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2014

From a terroir with red silex stones on limestone the authentic, unpretentious, vibrant, gastronomic 2011 Anjou Cabernet Franc displays a brillant and delicate bouquet of fresh and peppery fruit aromas typically linked with Cabernet Franc (black berries, blackcurrant, morello cherry), added with notes of graphite, rosemary and leather. On the palate this lovely red is a fresh, fleshy, but also transparent and silky textured red with a firm yet delicate structure and an aromatic floral finish and a good length. This delectable wine is a perfect match to roasted lamb and should be served with 16° C.
