Score 91/100 · Drink 2020-2040, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Apr 2019
The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Chatelots offers up a lavish bouquet of dark cherries, berries, baking chocolate and grilled squab. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy, with bright acids, largely concealed tannin and a precise, mineral finish.

Bottled. Mid cherry red. A little more savoury than the Chatelots, darker fruited and a touch peppery. Tannins are fine, chalky and dry, refined. A restrained style of Chambolle with the red-fruit sweetness coming in on the finish. (JH)
