Tasting notes
Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Katherine Lindsay Estate is slightly reticent to begin, giving way to enticing Bing cherries, cranberries and rhubarb scents with touches of wild thyme, tilled soil, cinnamon stick and lilacs. The palate is full-bodied with a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and great freshness supporting the tightly wound red fruit and earthy layers, finishing with fantastic persistence. 471 cases were made.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Katherine Lindsay Estate offers notable depth and density in a powerful, immediate style. One of the racier wines in the range, the 2015 is quite giving from the outset. A host of dark red and purplish stone fruits, wild flowers, licorice and menthol infuse this deeply expressive, boisterous Pinot. This is a striking wine from Paul Hobbs.
