Score 92/100 · Drink 2014-2017, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2014
The 2011 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is wonderfully alive in the glass. Slate, crushed rocks and a host of mineral notes meld into pastry and pear notes. This mid-weight Chardonnay is super-impressive, most of all for its balance and sense of harmony. The 2011 is about 60% estate fruit, while the remainder purchased from Searby and Campbell Ranch.
