Tasting notes
Bright medium red. Attractive floral lift to the aromas of red berries, herbs and pepper. Juicy and spicy on entry, then a bit lean and dry in the middle, but with plenty of red fruit and spice flavors. Good energy here but the finish features dusty, slightly drying tannins and a suggestion of greenness.

Chock full of fruit on the palate. Lovely supple spirit-of-2011 fruit. Just gorgeous! Correct, dark fruits, unusual opulence but still fresh. Ah, but not cheap. Very good though. (JR)
Medium red. Slightly medicinal aromas of black cherry, licorice and dark chocolate. Tightly wound and a bit dry, with modest lift to the bitter chocolate and earthy underbrush flavors. This wine began with 11.5% potential alcohol.
