Tasting notes
Opaque purple-black in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro gallops out of the glass with bold notions of crème de cassis, blackberry pie and blueberry preserves, plus hints of cedar chest, unsmoked cigars, clove oil and Chinese five spice. The rich, full-bodied palate has a firm backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to back up the decadent black and blue fruit preserves layers, finishing long and spicy.

The 2018 Fairchild Sigaro is all Cabernet Sauvignon coming from Pritchard Hill and was aged 22 months in new French oak. Crème de cassis, graphite, dark chocolate, and tobacco notes give way to a full-bodied, polished, incredibly elegant 2018 that does everything right. Concentrated, rich, and powerful, yet still weightless, it's going to cruise for 20 years.
Larry Fairchild's 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro is fabulous. Silky and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2018 builds with striking red berry fruit, mocha, blood orange, mint, spice and wild flowers. All the elements are so nicely balanced in a suave, polished Cabernet that will drink well right out of the gate. The Sigaro is an undeniably sexy wine. Don't miss it.
