Deep red. Pungent red and dark berry aromas are complicated by black cardamom, cinnamon, cola and mocha. Fleshy cassis and black raspberry flavors are firmed by dusty tannins and given a serious mien by hints of dried flowers and graphite. Some unabsorbed CO2 dissipated with aeration. Finishes gently spicy but with impressive energy and focus.
