Tasting notes
A great follow-up to the stunning 2014, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, ripe, sexy wine that's very much in the style of this vintage. Currants, black raspberries, spice box, incense, cedar, and some vanilla oak notes all flow to a rich, powerful 2015 that has loads of sweet fruit, no hard edges, and sweet tannins. Drink this bonafide fruit bomb any time over the coming 15 years or more.

Buccella's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is an outrageously beautiful wine. It is also going to need a least a few years to shed some of its considerable baby fat. Inky, flamboyant and super-concentrated, the 2015 almost tastes like a barrel sample, so primary is its fruit! Silky tannins and plush textures only add to the wine's considerable appeal. I am very intrigued to see how the 2015 ages, although I doubt most readers will have the patience to find out. This sumptuous, racy Cabernet has so much to offer.
Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon gives up bags of earth-inspired scents—mossy bark, tilled soil truffles and underbrush—with a crème de cassis and baked plum nose plus touches of cigar box and Chinese five spice. Full-bodied, concentrated and exuding tons of baked berries and exotic spice layers, it has a chewy texture and slightly warm finish.
