Score 91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
(0) Good red-ruby color. Expressive aromas of raspberry, strawberry, coffee and sexy oak spices. Concentrated and lush, with spicy red fruit flavors framed but not overwhelmed by high-quality oak. Large-scaled and a bit youthfully aggressive, but shows very good balance and nicely integrated oak. Finishes bright and sappy, with fine tannins and enticing red berry flavors. The strongest early showing for this estate flagship wine since the 1993.
