Tasting notes
The 2022 Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1989 next to the Russian River. Matured for 16 months in 64% new French oak, it demands your attention with detailed aromas of raspberry laced with fennel, sage, tea leaves and soaring lilac perfume. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and arresting, offering tremendous concentration and a sense of weightlessness. It’s framed by silky tannins and mouthwatering acidity and has a very long, floral finish. 780 cases were made.

About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
