Tasting notes
All Cabernet Franc from Block B of Morlet's Oakville vineyard, the 2021 Cabernet Franc Force de la Nature is a terrific effort that's floral, earthy, leafy and comes very close to being green but stops just short of that. Gentle red-fruit notes and deeper cherry nuances round out the nose, while the palate is full-bodied and velvety, finishing fresh and minty clean.

The 2021 Cabernet Franc Force De La Nature is pure perfection and one of the finest examples of this variety I've ever tasted. Beautiful red and black fruits, lead pencil shavings, violets, spring flowers, chocolate, and God knows what else all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a layered, seamless mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and no hard edges. The purity, balance, and just overall class here are off the charts. It's already impossible to resist, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't still going strong in 20-25 years.
Turbocharged and plush, the 2021 Cabernet Franc Force de la Nature oozes with inky dark fruit, plum, mocha, chocolate, new leather and sweet French oak that all stain the palate. This full-throttle, explosive wine is so promising, The 2021 is deep, substantial and full of varietal character—certainly one of the more opulent wines in the range.
