Score 95/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Nov 2025

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is potent and explosive in the glass. Ripe dark fruit, chocolate, incense, licorice and new leather race across the palate, building into a crescendo of aromas, flavors and textures. Today, the 2015 is at its first plateau of early maturity. I expect it will drink well for another 10-15 years. Cabernet Sauvignon is so distinctive here. At ten years of age, it seems pretty clear that the Cabernet Sauvignon handled the rigors of the growing season quite well.

Beautiful floral aromas of potpourri, rose petals and creme de casiss, then a well-structured palate with plenty of fruit concentration, showing black cherry, dried blueberry, cocoa and graphite flavors. A powerful yet elegant wine that\'s starting to show the tempting bottle bouquet and spicy nuances that come with aging. Drink now or hold.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is the most successful of Bryant's 2015s. Rich, sumptuous and exotically ripe, the Estate nevertheless maintains the size, shape and freshness that made the 2014s here so extraordinary. Expressive floral notes and red-toned fruit notes give the 2015 enough brightness to play off the naturally ripe, succulent fruit. The 2015 will start to drink well in another few years, once the aromatics develop more nuance. All things considered, this is a terrific wine in a very challenging vintage.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is closed and largely unyielding at this very youthful stage. With coaxing, it offers up black cherries, crushed blackberries and mulberries notes with hints of pencil lead, damp soil, truffles, licorice and dark chocolate plus a waft of cigar boxes. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is as tight as anything, displaying a rock-solid backbone of taut, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to support the muscular fruit, finishing with earth and mineral layers. This is a stunning wine that really will need a good 4-5 years in bottle, at least, and should give much pleasure over the next 25-30 years. This was tasted as a barrel sample.
