Score 85-86/100 · Drink 1995-2005, Robert Parker, Apr 1995

Usually one of the most elegantly-styled Pomerols, the 1994 La Grave exhibits a clever blend of new oak and red currant/black-cherry fruit. It is medium-bodied, fresh, and lively, with a soft texture, round, gentle fruitiness, and just enough tannin to give it focus and delineation. The finish is sweet and seductive. Drink this pleasant claret during its first decade of life.
