Tasting notes
Bottled unfined and unfiltered. No production notes were available for this vintage. Fermented in stainless steel then aged in French oak barrels. Aromatics of dried Bing cherry followed by a surprisingly bright palate. Notes of gun metal, Bing cherry, mixed dried herbs and a hint of dried chocolate persist beautifully through to a lengthy finish. Nicely fresh acidity with ultra-fine persistent tannins. Such a pretty wine. It carries a nice balance of refreshment and satisfaction with a distinctly Cabernet character and a refined hand. A pleasure to drink. Drink soon. (ECB)
