Score 88-90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Bright, deep ruby, more saturated than the Gravelly Meadow. Floral aromas of black cherry, mint and slightly raw oak. Juicy but rather folded in on itself; shows subtle, slightly inky flavors of red and black berries and lead pencil. Has a penetrating sweetness. Broad tannins nicely cover the entire palate.
