Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2022

From a site with marly soils that sits at the confluence of two small valleys, the 2020 Marsannay Es Chezots delivers aromas of cherries, licorice, sweet spices, smoke and new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, broad and velvety palate with excellent concentration, powdery tannins and lively acids. It's a lovely wine.

The 2020 Marsannay Es Chezot, taken from barrel, has a very cohesive bouquet with black cherries, bilberry and light crushed rock scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, and the wood is nicely integrated here with a smooth finish. Very fine.
