The 2019 Le Cygne, the dry white from Fonreaud, has a nicely delineated nose of green apple, white flowers and a touch of wild peach. The palate is well balanced with a slightly honeyed opening, fine acidity and an almost creamy-textured, seductive finish. Delicious!

A creamy, fruity white with cooked apples and hints of vanilla. Medium to full body. Easy finish.
About the producer

Fonreaud
Situated at the highest point in the Médoc (at a huge 43 metres above sea-level), this estate is thought to be named after a spring on the site, from which Henry II supposedly drank (a “royal fountain”).
