The 2018 Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins delivers a rich bouquet of plums, berries, raw cocoa, spices and baking chocolate, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent palate framed by powdery tannins and racy acids.

The 2018 Pommard Les Chanlins 1er Cru has an attractive bouquet of mulberry, undergrowth and tarry aromas, a little broody at first but opening up with time. The palate is medium-bodied and a bit rustic compared to the Volnay Sous La Chapelle, and it needs a little more substance on the finish.
