2017 Monteverro

This is the headline wine from Monteverro. The 2017 Monteverro is Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot with a more important oak regime (in terms of time and types of barrel) compared to the more accessible Terra di Monteverro. This wine is fully concentrated and very rich. It's almost too much of a good thing with dark fruit layers, spice and savory tobacco. It's definitely bold and is a lot to take in. Exactly 16,941 bottles were made.
