Aromas of fresh apricot and fresh porcini. Broad, dry and enveloping, showing excellent density leavened by energy. A lovely mineral expression in the mouth, with a menthol quality somehow lifting the middle palate. Finishes suave, silky, fine-grained and very long, with terrific stony intensity.

(from vines between 40 and 50 years of age): Pale yellow-green. Cool aromas of lime blossom, mint, menthol and crushed stone. Dense, sappy and light on its feet, with a repeating menthol quality contributing to an impression of energy and lifting the flavors of lime and spices. Finishes with suble, lingering saline perfume.
