The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Clos le Village is more structured, unwinding in the glass with aromas of plums, petals and toasty oak. Medium to full-bodied, layered and lively, with ripe, powdery tannins, it's quite different in style from the new Derrière le Four bottling, despite their comparative proximity.

The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Clos le Village has subtle chalky scents on the nose neatly embroidered with redcurrant and cranberry notes. The palate is medium-bodied with a silky texture. This is not a powerful Chambolle but it has firm, well-balanced tannins and a fresh, limestone-influenced finish. One of Felettig's most underrated cuvées does it again.
