Score 91/100 · Drink 2027-2042, Neal Martin, Nov 2024

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Champs-Chenys has a tightly wound nose with black cherry, blueberry and floral scents—aromatics that will require time in bottle. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, but quite a sturdy, structured finish as more red fruit joins the fray. This is quite a mercurial wine, one that keeps you engaged, which is always a good sign.
