From the Kammerberg, Becker's iconic 2019 Pfalz Pinot Noir "KB" VDP. Grosse Lage offers a deep, pure and intense, juicy and spicy, finely toasty bouquet of ripe and concentrated dark berry and cherry fruits. On the palate, this is a tight, robust and persistent Pinot with remarkably fine tannins and a long, intense and powerful finish. From vines that are older than 50 years. 13.5% stated alcohol. Tasted in Wiesbaden, August 2022.

A thrilling ride of forest-fruit aromas mingled with a bit of worn leather that really comes to life on the structured palate. Cool and mildly juicy with dark, wild berries, crisp acidity and grippy, drying tannins. (PS)
